Ajman Chamber Endeavors To Sustain Its Specialized Exhibitions To Support Its Members

Nasser Al Dhafri-Executive Director of Communication and Member Support Division at the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the Chamber is keen to maintain sustainability of specialized exhibitions as a top priority under the directives of its leadership. This comes within the Chamber’s vision to continue supporting its members, ensuring business growth and creating a promotional environment locally, regionally and internationally in order to strengthen partnerships and expand activities and business sustainability in line with its objectives and strategic plan, he added. “The Chamber, following the consequences of the pandemic, started its specialized exhibitions with the Ajman International Exhibition and Training Exhibition that was a virtual edition. And that reflects the Chamber’s efforts to overcome obstacles and challenges and turn them into sustainable opportunities that support the investment environment and ensure the care of the interests of its members,” Al Dhafri said. He continue, “The competitive economic sector is characterized by dynamism in dealing with the effects and successive variables. And the UAE economy enhances its regional and international competitiveness by tackling any emergency changes witnessed by the global economy thanks to the insightful visions of our leadership and the future foresight in light of flexible policies that keep pace with the aspirations of businessmen and investors.” The AETEX-2021 represents one of the key exhibitions that the Ajman Chamber is keen to organize annually, he added, stressing that the virtual edition translates its importance and the necessity of its continuity. “AETEX serves as a platform that links the educational institutions on the one hand and between students and educational institutions on the other hand, to learn about the available and new disciplines, admission steps, tuition fees, scholarships, and more,” he added. As the head of the organizing committee, Al Dhafri praised the cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the Organizing Committee for AETEX. Over the previous editions, the exhibition was able to attract thousands of students, parents and teaching cadres to visit it, benefit from its activities, and learn about educational institutions from inside and outside the country, as well as the top academic disciplines that are compatible with the labor market, he added. He praised the impressions of the visitors and the positive reactions monitored by the organizing committee. The exhibition’s platform provided a realistic simulation of the possibility of direct communication between visitors and representatives of the exhibitors, which was reflected in the remarkable turnout of the first virtual edition with more than 2500 visitors, Al Dhafri said. Nasser Al Dhafri stressed that the organizing committee seeks to attract a wide selection of universities and higher education institutions from inside and outside the country during the next edition "AETEX-2022". This is because the exhibition represents an important platform for discussing the reality of the educational sector in terms of disciplines and tools, future foresight and interrelationship between academic disciplines and future jobs.
