Date of Establishment

Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry established in 1977 by an Emiri decree issued by the forgiven Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Allah willing. And he, may Allah have mercy on him, realized the role that the Chamber of Commerce can play in consolidating the economic position of the emirate, organizing work in the commercial, industrial and agricultural sectors, and spreading awareness of these sectors among all groups of society.

In 2018, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Federation and Ruler of Ajman issued Emiri Decree No. (4), regarding the reorganization of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and expanding its circle of competences and activities to cope with the huge economic developments and the process of digital transformation.

The Chamber seeks to achieve the following goals:

  • Enhancing the emirate’s reputation economically and highlighting its commercial, industry, agricultural and professional potentials through various national and international events, programs and initiatives، in addition to transferring modern technology in industries, improving the quality of local products, increasing trade exchange, opening new markets for the emirate’s products and developing its exports.
  • Close cooperation frameworks with local and federal government agencies, chambers of commerce, associations, institutions, and local, regional and international bodies, as well as exchange experiences with them, in relation to economic, technical and administrative matters.
  • Cooperation and coordination with the competent authorities, with the aim of organizing the practice of commercial, industrial, agricultural and professional activities.
  • Encouraging cooperation between Chamber members, taking care of their interests, and providing services that enable them to conduct their business and guarantee their success and leadership.
  • Spreading moral awareness in commercial and industrial transactions in cooperation with the competent authorities in the emirate, and enhancing social responsibility with the licensed establishments.
