Ajman Chamber continued to reap international achievements, winning the E-Government Project Award in the "Smart Government" category at the GovMedia Conference & Awards 2026 in Singapore, in recognition of its innovative efforts in developing, managing, and planning its services in accordance with best modern practices. The award was received by His Excellency Mahmoud Othman Abu Al Shawareb, a Member of the Board of Ajman Chamber, during the GovMedia Conference & Awards 2026, which provides a platform to honor leading government initiatives and distinguished models that contribute to improving gov-ernment performance and enhancing service efficiency in the Asia-Pacific region. H.E. Mahmoud Abu Al Shawareb affirmed that the Chamber’s receiving this prestigious international award reflects the success of its ongoing efforts to enhance its customer service ecosystem, foster a culture of innovation in service delivery, and adopt global best practices in digital transformation. He noted that the Chamber has established a forward-looking, customer-centric approach focused on understanding evolving customer needs and delivering services that are more efficient, agile, and of the highest quality. H.E. added that this achievement further strengthens the Chamber’s international standing and supports the Emirate of Ajman’s economic and investment competitiveness, reinforcing its position as an attractive destination for business and investment. During the GovMedia Conference & Awards 2026, H.E. Mahmoud Abu Al Shawareb presented a work-ing paper titled "Ajman Chamber's Approach to Service Redesign and Development." The paper out-lined the Chamber's service development methodology, highlighting its adoption of artificial intelli-gence tools and its data-driven approach to monitoring and analysis to redesign services that are more efficient, agile, and proactive, further enhancing the customer experience. He said, "The Chamber relies on several key pillars in the stages of developing its services on an ongo-ing basis, including involving customers in the design and improvement of services as an essential partner in the development process, building systems based on customer behavior as a basis for de-sign and decision-making, and employing digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies, to im-prove the efficiency of services and enhance their responsiveness and effectiveness." Ajman Chamber is keen to promote the transformation and development of its services by adopting a methodology to monitor and analyze challenges, reduce the frequency of complaints, and address them proactively. This is further supported by the "Zero Bureaucracy" program, which redesigns ser-vices in a flexible, digital manner that reduces complexity, improves operational efficiency, and en-hances service continuity.
