H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), honoured Ajman Chamber in recognition of its participation and sponsorship of the 10th edition of the Ajman International Urban Planning Conference. The award was received by H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber. During the Conference, Abdullah Abdulmohsen Al Nuaimi, Director of the Government Communication Department at Ajman Chamber, highlighted a range of key services showcased by Ajman Chamber at its pavilion, in addition to presenting its latest initiative, “Eco Smart Industry.” The initiative targets industrial establishments in the Emirate and aims to enhance environmental balance while supporting the transition towards sustainable and balanced production practices. Al Nuaimi commended the Conference’s role as an effective platform for highlighting smart and sustainable cities and promoting quality of life in line with the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030. He noted that the Conference themes include the evolution of urban planning, the family and community as a foundation for planning a sustainable urban environment, and the role of arts and heritage in shaping the modern urban landscape. The Conference witnessed strong participation from experts, specialists, and decision-makers, who reviewed leading experiences and innovative best practices in urban development and quality-of-life enhancement.
