Ajman Chamber Participates In The Arab-Hellenic Economic Forum

H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of Ajman Chamber, participated in the 14th Arab-Hellenic Economic Forum held in Athens, Greece. His participation aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and partnerships, as well as explore investment opportunities in the fields of construction, energy, innovation, and artificial intelligence. The Forum, held on November 27th and 28th, brought together high-level government officials, business leaders, economic experts, and a diverse group of investors from Arab countries and Greece. The agenda covered a wide range of topics, including economic visions and investment prospects in the construction and infrastructure sectors, innovative building methods, and the latest sustainable practices in housing and climate change mitigation. It also addressed conventional electricity and renewable energy projects—including solar, wind, and green hydrogen—storage solutions, ports and logistics services, the importance of financing mechanisms for construction and energy projects, and the role of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in developing and expanding investments in key sectors, particularly construction and energy H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi praised the robustness of UAE-Hellenic relations and the depth of ties between the two nations. He highlighted the advanced levels of economic cooperation achieved, describing it as a sophisticated model for international economic and investment partnerships, especially as both sides move to open new avenues for collaboration and expand bilateral trade. He further underscored the significance of the Forum and its role in providing a leading international platform to enhance cooperation, partnership, and expand investment horizons between the UAE and Greece. He noted that this contributes to advancing economic relations to more progressive levels. He also mentioned the Forum's pivotal role in exploring promising opportunities in several strategic sectors, particularly the construction and energy sectors, which are among the fastest-growing and possess a high capacity to attract investments and offer promising future partnership prospects. Membership statistics from Ajman Chamber indicate a remarkable growth in the construction and real estate sectors. Membership for construction and building activities reached 5,046 from the beginning of the year until the end of the third quarter, representing a growth rate of 21% compared to the same period in 2024. Membership for real estate activities reached 731, with a growth rate of 12%. He stated, "Ajman Chamber is keen on building wider partnerships and bridges of communication with Greek entities by exploring opportunities to organize joint meetings and events that help introduce investors to the available opportunities and enhance the growth of mutual trade and investments." H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi also held a series of bilateral meetings with participating delegations from Arab countries and Greece. The meetings focused on strengthening economic cooperation, exchanging expertise, and exploring joint investment opportunities across various sectors. This is intended to solidify bilateral relations and open new horizons for commercial partnerships, thereby embodying the realization of the Ajman Vision 2030 and contributing to the promotion of investment programs and the enhancement of trade and service networks.
