Ajman Chamber participates in the "AIM Investment Summit – China" held in Shanghai under the theme "Exploring the Drivers of Interwoven Globalization: From Takeoff to Prosperity". The Chamber joins the official UAE delegation alongside the Ministry of Foreign Trade with the aim of strengthening economic and trade cooperation among participating countries and discussing economic developments and the impact of innovation, modern technologies, and AI on industry and investment growth. The Chamber's delegation is headed by H.E. Marwan Al Shaali, Board Member of Ajman Chamber, and includes Mr. Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector in Ajman Chamber. Government officials, business leaders, investors and experts from the fields of investment, trade, industry, finance and innovation participate in the Summit. The two-day summit features 15 high-level sessions, with the participation of over 85 speakers and more than 1,000 attendees. H.E. Marwan Al Shaali emphasized that holding the "AIM Investment Summit" in Shanghai reflects the summit's significance as a global platform for fostering economy, trade and mutual investments between the UAE and China, as well as between the UAE and other countries worldwide. He added that "The participation of Ajman Chamber in this global event underscores its efforts to promote the investment opportunities available in the Emirate of Ajman, expand into international markets, open new horizons for partnership and cooperation, exchange experience and best practices, and keep pace with global economic and investment trends, all in support of achieving the goals of Ajman Vision 2030". He praised the depth of the UAE–China strategic partnership, which has been reflected in the steady growth of trade and investment flows between both countries. The UAE has become China's leading trading partner in non-oil trade across the Middle East and Africa. He further stated that Ajman Chamber delegation was keen to hold a series of bilateral meetings with other participating delegations during the Summit, as part of the Chamber's efforts to expand its international partnerships and explore opportunities for developing mutual trade with countries around the world. Meanwhile, during the Summit, he delivered a presentation on "Investment Opportunities and Economic Enablers in the Emirate of Ajman", and discussed the economic strengths of the UAE, including its advanced infrastructure, service, and logistics networks, as well as the diverse and highly efficient ports, which rank among the most dynamic globally. These factors have positioned the UAE as a sustainable economic bridge that facilitates the flow of trade and investments, particularly between Asia and Africa. He also highlighted the efforts and vital role of the Chambers of Commerce in creating an attractive and stimulating business environment that supports intercontinental trade and strengthens the UAE's position as a key partner contributing to global economic integration, especially in light of the growing strategic relations between China and the UAE, and between the UAE and Africa.
