Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) held its third meeting for the year 2025 to discuss the progress and updates of its projects, initiatives, as well as the agenda for its local and international participations and the action plan for the upcoming phase. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, AJBWC's Chairwoman and attended by the Council's Board members and employees at the AJBWC's headquarters. At the beginning of the meeting, she welcomed the attendees and affirmed the importance of innovation and diversity in the Council's services and programs in cooperation with its partners from the both private and public entities to establish a stimulating business environment that contributes to the growth of the projects of the Council's members holding a Bidayat License, as well as for entrepreneurs in general. This also aims at expanding the scope of the holders of Bidayat License in various economic sectors to achieve the Council's goals, Ajman Vision 2030, and the objectives of the national initiative "Year of Community." Dr. Khalifa clarified that AJBWC firmly believes in the importance of encouraging women to launch innovative work and start pioneering projects that contribute to fostering national economy. This is achieved through empowering them with supportive tools and necessary knowledge, providing training programs and qualitative initiatives that enhance their competitiveness, and supporting them to launch pioneering and innovative projects that are capable of growth and expansion. Moreover, the meeting included a comprehensive presentation on Takamul Program as one of the pioneering initiatives, which aims to enhance the role of women in the industrial sector and support their effective participation in local industries, aligned with Ajman Chamber's strategic directions and the Emirate's Vision of diversifying the economy and enhancing innovation. The project also focuses on empowering women and entrepreneurs in the field of industries and production through specialized training and development programs, increasing the competitiveness of the products of female business owners, and unlocking new markets for their products. Additionally, the Program seeks to provide innovative job opportunities and promote a culture of innovation in industrial and production projects. The Council's members had an overview of the completion report of the cooled plastic greenhouse project implemented as part of the 'Plant and Reap' initiative. This effort aims to enhance agricultural awareness among families and encourage them to adopt sustainable agricultural practices that contribute to achieving food self-sufficiency. The attendees stressed the importance of expanding the scope of the project and increasing the number of beneficiaries, ensuring the empowerment of women in the agricultural field, and employing modern technologies in agriculture to achieve higher productivity and better quality, in addition to promoting awareness of the importance of agriculture as one of the basics of food security and quality of life. They were also briefed on AJBWC's activities and events for 2026, and they discussed the most prominent projects and future plans, along with the agenda of external participation opportunities during the next phase.
