Ajman Chamber Enhances Cooperation With Uaesbc

Ajman Chamber discussed with the UAE Singapore Business Council (UAESBC) ways of joint cooperation across several sectors and opportunities to promote trade exchange and unlock new frontiers for investment growth between Ajman and Singapore. They also walked through opportunities to support partnerships and enhance cooperation between business owners and entrepreneurs from both sides. The meeting was held in Al Zorah Golf and Yacht Club and attended by Dr. Brian Shegar, Emeritus Chairman & Senior Advisor of UAESBC, Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector in Ajman Chamber, and Aisha Al Nuaimi, Director of the Investment and Business Promotion Department. A number of officials from Ajman Free Zone and Department of Economic Development in Ajman also participated in the meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, Mohamed Al Janahi welcomed the attendees and affirmed the depth of relations between the UAE and Singapore, Lauding the magnitude of collaborative efforts in diverse key sectors, including investment and trade, financial technology, and education. Further, Al Janahi emphasized that Ajman Chamber, in cooperation with the Emirate's governmental bodies, sought to enhance international cooperation and increase its meetings with its partners all over the world with the aim of contributing to achieving Ajman Vision 2030 and providing a competitive business environment and investment atmosphere driving economic growth through diversifying investment promotion programs and enhancing the scale of bilateral trade. The meeting witnessed the discussion of cooperation opportunities in industry, trade, banking services, financial technology, education, health, tourism, services, artificial intelligence, and advanced industries. It also dealt with the importance of holding joint forums with the participation of business owners from both states to exchange expertise and promote cooperation and partnership. On the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. Brian Shegar visited Ajman Free Zone, where he had a thorough briefing on the available investment opportunities and the qualitative services provided in Ajman Free Zone that support facilitating business practices. He also visited Zoya Resort and had an overview of the inclusive and integrated health experience it provides through a set of modern and advanced treatment programs. At the end of the meeting, both sides exchanged commemorative shields and souvenirs and affirmed the importance of continuous coordination, joint cooperation, and participation in events and fairs organized by each side to enhance economic cooperation and unlocking the horizon for new fruitful cooperation opportunities.
