The Saudi-Emirati Economic Integration: A Catalyst For Gulf Competitiveness

H.E. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of Ajman Chamber, said, "We extend our sincerest congratulations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; its leadership and its noble people on the occasion of the National Day 95 in which we take pride. The bonds between the two fraternal nations extend across ages and are deeply rooted, and this is even beyond description. Both nations are united by common history, socio-cultural heritage, and traditions. Furthermore, they are bound together by steadfast cooperation in all fields, while their economic integration ensures the competitiveness of the Gulf economy and the sustainability of its growth." He added "At the economic level, Ajman is bound to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by distinct trade relationships reflected in trade exchange movement, where the Kingdom secured the top position for the total value of certificates of origin in 2024, equivalent to more than 15% of the overall value of certificates issued by the Ajman Chamber. Moreover, the value of the certificate of origin designated to the Kingdom rose by 17% in the first half of the current year compared with the corresponding period last year, while the number of certificates increased by 14%.
