Ajman Chamber Participates In 14th World Chambers Congress In Melbourne

Ajman Chamber is participating in the 14th World Chambers Congress, being held in Melbourne, Australia, under the theme "Business, chambers, government: Partners for prosperity." The event runs from September 2 to 4. Ajman Chamber's delegation is led by H.E. Mahmood Othman Abu Al Shawareb, Board Member of the Ajman Chamber, with the presence of Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector. The global conference has attracted more than 1,200 participants, including leaders from chambers of commerce, business leaders, government officials, and investors from over 100 countries. The conference aims to provide a global platform to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between chambers of commerce, showcase global best practices, and exchange experiences and ideas. It also highlights the innovative initiatives and services offered by chambers of commerce worldwide to improve communication channels and strengthen their role in supporting the global economy. H.E. Mahmood Abu Al Shawareb stated that "The Ajman Chamber’s participation in this international event reflects its active presence on the global stage and contributes to supporting its strategic objectives by enhancing the emirate's competitiveness and attracting investments. It also serves to promote our innovative initiatives and projects. This participation embodies Ajman’s position as a promising economic hub and opens up wide horizons for building strategic partnerships that support the private sector and advance sustainable development." Abu Al Shawareb further praised the diversity of the conference sessions, which include over 30 dialogue sessions and workshops presented by a selection of leaders from chambers of commerce and business experts from various countries. He noted that this provides a rich platform for exchanging expertise, showcasing best practices, and enhancing opportunities for cooperation and partnership among economic institutions at both the regional and international levels. For his part, Mohamed Al Janahi explained that the Ajman Chamber delegation was keen to hold a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of participating chambers of commerce and other organizations to discuss joint cooperation and explore economic and investment partnership opportunities. He affirmed that these meetings provide a crucial opportunity to enhance the presence of the emirate of Ajman on the international business map, highlight its investor-friendly environment, and facilitate the exchange of expertise and best practices. He further noted that the Ajman Chamber is committed to translating these participations and meetings into concrete outcomes by establishing new communication channels and exploring prospects for organizing joint events, forums, and future trade delegations.
