H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber, affirmed that the industrial sector in the emirate of Ajman is distinguished by the diversity of its activities and its accelerated growth, supported by integrated infrastructure, services, and components that enhance the attractiveness of industrial investments in Ajman. This, in turn, strengthens the contribution of the industrial sector to the emirate's GPD compared to other sectors. He clarified that the Ajman Chamber's participation within the emirate of Ajman's pavilion at the fourth edition of "Make it in the Emirates" under the theme "Accelerating Advanced Industries" comes within the framework of the Chamber's keenness to support national trends in developing the industrial sector and promoting the industrial investment opportunities available in the Ajman. It also provides an opportunity for the Chamber's members from industrial establishments to showcase their products, enhance their presence in local and international markets, and open new avenues for cooperation, growth, and the strengthening of partnerships. Al Suwaidi further commended the diversity of industrial sectors participating from the emirate of Ajman in the "Make it in the Emirates" exhibition, where the pavilion witnessed the participation of 20 factories across several sectors, including "food and beverage, advanced industries, clothing, machinery and equipment, shipbuilding and boat manufacturing, plastics and chemical industries, healthcare products, and others." He pointed out that the industrial sector in Ajman is experiencing increasing growth, with 442 industrial memberships recorded in the first quarter of this year, including 53 new memberships and 389 renewed memberships, reflecting the sector's vitality and investment attractiveness. He stated, "The emirate's efforts align with the vision of the UAE government to strengthen and expand the national industrial base, increase its contribution to the national economy, and work towards the access of Emirati products to foreign markets. This is achieved by supporting the competitiveness of local industries and encouraging industrial establishments to adopt quality and innovation standards, the latest practices and technologies based on technology and artificial intelligence, and by creating a flexible and stimulating industrial environment for investment, which contributes to consolidating the UAE's position as a sustainable regional and global industrial hub."
