H.E. Maher Taresh Al Alili, Board Member of the Ajman Chamber and Vice Chairman of the UAE Franchise Association, took part in the second dialogue session organized by the Association. The session aimed to explore ways to enhance the Association’s operational performance and review mechanisms for the development of the franchise sector in the UAE. The session was chaired by H.E. Noor Al Tamimi, Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber and Chairwoman of the UAE Franchise Association, and attended by H.E. Mohammed Al Awadi, Director-General of the Sharjah Chamber and Board Member of the UAE Franchise Association, along with other Board Members, chairpersons and representatives of the Association’s subcommittees, and officials from strategic partner entities concerned with the franchise sector. The session was held at the Sharjah Chamber headquarters. Discussions focused on the outcomes of the previous session, achievements to date, ideas and proposals in support of the UAE Franchise Association’s operational plan, and key challenges facing partners and clients in the franchise sector, with proposed solutions. On the sidelines of the session, several cooperation agreements were signed with strategic partners to strengthen joint efforts and contribute to the advancement of the franchise sector in the UAE. A number of partners were also honored in recognition of their efforts and active contributions in supporting the UAE Franchise Association’s objectives and promoting the franchise sector. Participants recommended intensifying dialogue sessions and broadening their scope to address challenges, identify promising opportunities, encourage entrepreneurs and business owners to capitalize on franchise prospects, support the expansion of local brands both domestically and internationally, and attract global brands to the UAE.
