Ajman Chamber Participates In The First International Conference “The World Of Metaverse: Investing In The Future”

Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector at the Ajman Chamber, participated in the activities of the first international conference “The World of the Metaverse: Investing in the Future,” which was organized by the City University Ajman (CU Ajman), in the presence of H.E. Imran Khan, President of the CU Ajman, and Sheikha Hind bint Abdulaziz Al Qasimi, President Emirates International Business Club, and Dr. Mohamed Amerah, Vice Chancellor of the CU Ajman. The Conference was also attended by a group of government officials, faculty members, students, and a group of experts and specialists in the fields of innovation, artificial intelligence (AI), and virtual reality. Al Janahi stressed that the Ajman Chamber’s sponsorship of the “Metaverse World: Investing in the Future” conference demonstrates its efforts in supporting the fields of metaverse and AI, and emphasizes the importance of the forum and its role in providing a specialized platform to discuss the latest modern technological tools and means and the extent of the impact of the metaverse and AI on the various sectors (economic, social, educational, health, and other sectors) and the results of those influences on driving global transformations and the rapid changes witnessed by all sectors. He added, "At the Ajman Chamber, we are proud of our positive partnership with the CU Ajman, as it is one of the leading educational institutions in the Emirate of Ajman and the country. We believe that permanent cooperation and effective partnership with universities and higher education institutions represent an essential element in achieving the strategic goals and objectives of the Ajman Chamber and a cornerstone for enhancing sustainable economic development. Al Janahi also said: We look forward to the Conference’s outcomes and recommendations being an opportunity to launch innovative initiatives and projects that contribute to achieving a brighter and more prosperous future for the Emirate of Ajman and the UAE. During the conference activities, Ahmed Fathi, an employee of the Information Technology Department, presented a working paper in which he reviewed the efforts of the Ajman Chamber in applying AI technologies, including the “The 8th edition of the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition (AETEX), the Al Fareej Kiosks Exhibition, and a group of specialized workshops about AI." At the conclusion of the conference, the Ajman Chamber was honored for sponsoring the conference activities.
