Ajman Chamber Signs Mou With The New Media Academy

The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the New Media Academy, the first digital media institution of its kind in the Middle East, to enhance mutual cooperation and provide pioneering and innovative educational services through the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship of the Ajman Chamber, during the first day of the World Governments Summit 2024. In the presence of H.E. Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber, and H.E. Saeed Al Eter, Chair of the UAE Government Media Office, the MoU was signed by H.E. Mariam Khalifa Al Nuaimi, member of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber, and Alia Al Hammadi, CEO of the New Media Academy, with a view to providing an innovative and sustainable educational and training platform that contributes to supporting economic development and entrepreneurship in the Emirate of Ajman and the UAE. MoU stipulated the adoption of the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship as a platform to launch the services and programs of the New Media Academy, and cooperation in providing a sustainable training and educational platform for citizens and residents. The two parties also agreed to implement specialized qualitative activities directed to business owners and qualify them with innovative management and marketing tools based on the latest modern educational technologies and artificial intelligence (AI). The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Second Vice Chairman of the Ajman Chamber, H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Ajman Chamber, Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector at the Ajman Chamber, and Marwan Hareb Al Aryani, Acting Executive Director of the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship. Quality Services. Maryam Al Nuaimi stressed that the Ajman Chamber seeks to provide quality services with added value in the fields of education and training and work to qualify and educate a large segment by diversifying partnerships and unifying efforts to enhance the efficiency and skills of entrepreneurs and business owners through optimal exploitation of the capabilities and integrated facilities provided by the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship, which reflects on the development of the local economy, the growth of economic activities, and attracting investments and effective partnerships that support sustainable development. She stated that the MoU is consistent with the new strategy of the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship, which aims to diversify its supporting tools and programs in the field of training, development, and innovation and provide a wide range of business solutions, tools, and smart applications that support the launch and development of private projects. The Center also seeks to enhance its role as a link that contributes to building relationships and social networks between entrepreneurs, investors, government officials, and innovative educational institutions. She pointed out that signing MoU with the New Media Academy aligns with the goals and aspirations of the Ajman Chamber and the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship to provide advisory, educational, and training services directed to project owners, entrepreneurs, and those intending to establish special projects and encourage them to develop their ideas and projects. - Capabilities Development. Alia Al Hammad stressed the Academy’s keenness to establish strategic cooperation partnerships with all national institutions with a view to enabling the UAE youth to highlight their talents and invest in their capabilities, which contributes to creating a distinct Emirati media identity capable of competing globally. She pointed out that the MoU with the Ajman Chamber comes within the framework of the Academy’s strategy aimed at creating the atmosphere for the growth of the content industry through programs and initiatives that work to develop and support the self-abilities of national cadres and provide appropriate opportunities for their qualification, in a way that supports this sector, which is the future of the economy based on science, knowledge, innovation and creative industries. It is noteworthy that the World Governments Summit 2024, in its current edition, hosts more than 4,000 specialists from 140 governments, 85 international organizations, and 700 international companies to discuss major global future trends, through more than 110 main discussion and interactive sessions, in which 200 international figures spoke, in addition to holding more than 23 ministerial meetings and executive sessions attended by more than 300 ministers.
