Gdrfa Dubai Cooperates With Ajman Chamber In Leadership Management And The Innovation And Future Center

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) concluded a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), based on laying the foundations for strategic cooperation between them, with a view to unifying efforts for making a positive impact on the level of sustainable development. MoU was signed by H.E. Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, General Director of GDRFA Dubai, and H.E. Abdullah bin Mohammed Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber. The MoU signing ceremony took place during the World Governments Summit 2024, in the attendance of H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Second Vice Chairman of the Ajman Chamber, H.E. Mariam Khalifa Al Nuaimi, member of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber, H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Ajman Chamber, and H.E. Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director General of GDRFA Dubai. H.E. Brigadier General Talal Ahmed Al Shanqiti, Assistant General Director of Airport Passport Affairs Sector, and H.E. Brigadier Abdul Samad Hussein, Acting Assistant Director General of the Institutional Support Sector. MoU includes the application of the best standards, practices, and education in specialized fields, such as qualifying employees in the field of the Global Star Rating System for Services and service delivery channels, change management, the general framework for managing strategic and national indicators, partnership and government communication, the innovation management system, and the exhibitions management and organization. MoU items provide the necessary support in terms of exchanging competencies and seeking assistance from available cadres in accordance with the regulations and procedures in force at GDRFA Dubai and Ajman Chamber. The agreement focuses on the institutional support sector, which includes the institutional leadership management and the future and innovation center with the aim of exchanging experiences, studies, best practices, creative and innovative ideas, and field visits in the field of work of both parties, to contribute to joint development and cooperation. It also stipulates achieving the goal of exchanging information about conferences between the two sides, which include seminars, training courses, professional events, and development programs carried out by each party, with priority for participation in them by employees of both parties to achieve the desired cooperation between them. Al Marri said that GDRFA Dubai aims to, through its continuous keenness to provide knowledge support and strategic cooperation with government institutions in various sectors, integrate efforts and exchange experiences with the Ajman Chamber, in addition to communicating and building bridges of cooperation in the field of initiatives, projects, and exchange of systems to drive progress by organizing events, activities, training courses, and workshops For his part, Al Muwaiji confirmed that the MoU is a part of the Ajman Chamber’s efforts to develop a renewed network of strategic relations that support opportunities for expansion and business development and services in the Ajman Chamber, praising the expertise and pioneering and innovative programs of GDRFA Dubai. This will have a positive impact on the Ajman Chamber’s services and work environment through monitoring and applying the best standards, practices, and programs. He pointed out that the Ajman Chamber seeks to intensify its local and global partnerships and expand the scope of its cooperation to increase its ability to adapt and be flexible, anticipate the future, and exploit new opportunities, in support of establishing a sustainable participatory approach that achieves the strategic goals of Ajman Chamber that are compatible with the goals of the emirate of Ajman and the UAE.
