Moi And Ajman Chamber Sign Mou To Develop Institutional Performance

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) and the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a view to strengthening national partnerships as part of ongoing efforts to improve institutional performance. MoU was signed during the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Under-Secretary of the MoI, and H.E. Abdullah Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber. The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Second Vice Chairman of the Ajman Chamber, H.E. Mariam Khalifa Al Nuaimi, member of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber, H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Ajman Chamber, Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector at the Ajman Chamber, and a number of MoI officers. This MoU is a part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships between national institutions within the framework of implementing the directives of the UAE government and its endeavor to develop the work complementary system and joint coordination between national institutions. MoU stipulates the coordination of mutual cooperation and the importance of transferring expertise, knowledge, best practices, and distinctive and supportive experiences to raise the levels of institutional performance, develop the work system, build and stimulate the capabilities of human resources, in addition to holding awareness and training workshops that contribute to developing and improving job performance, exchanging visits, and organizing joint meetings to achieve the goals of both parties. Al Khaili said that MoI is keen, under the directives of the UAE Government, to enhance joint integrated work in a sustainable manner that ensures continuous efforts to achieve the strategic objectives and the UAE Vision in developing institutional performance and quality of life for society. He added that the MoU is in the interest of strengthening work and coordination between national institutions in order to sustain development and modernization and the journey of leadership and excellence. For his part, Al Muwaiji stressed the importance of the MoU and its role in consolidating the existing relationship between Ajman Chamber and MoI and building an effective strategic partnership that enhances the process of institutional development and deepens the development efforts of both parties, praising the MoI pioneering and exceptional level, which was reflected in the quality of its services and receiving a wide range of prestigious local and international awards in the field of institutional performance, excellence, and innovation He said: “This cooperation stems from the Ajman Chamber’s keenness to build strong partnerships with federal government entities, and to enhance the efforts made to develop institutional performance and develop the services provided to our member establishments and entrepreneurs, and to society in general, which confirms our commitment to achieving global leadership in ensuring the sustainability of a growing business community that keeps pace with the future.” He explained that the Ajman Chamber will work diligently to effectively implement the results and outputs of this MoU to achieve further progress and prosperity for the UAE economy in general and the Emirate of Ajman in particular, and to support expansion and business development opportunities and promote the emirate as an ideal investment destination.
