A Coordination Meeting Between Government Entities In Ajman With A View To Integrating Roles And Coordinating Joint Cooperation

H.E. Eng. Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and Member of the Ajman Executive Council, praised the efforts of local government entities in achieving the objectives of the Ajman strategic plan, stressing that the diversity of services and initiatives provided by the Ajman government to various sectors plays a prominent role in advancing the comprehensive development, effectively improving the quality of life, facilitating doing business, and enhancing the investment attractiveness of Ajman. This came during his chairmanship of the consultative meeting of the Ajman Executive Council. The meeting was attended at the headquarters of the Ajman Chamber, H.E. Abdullah Ahmed Al Hamrani, Director General of the Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED), H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Ajman Chamber, H.E. Dr. Ohood Ali Al Shuhail, Director General of the Ajman Digital Government, and H.E. Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, CEO of Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, and Fatima Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Director of the Policy and Strategy Department at the Ajman Executive Council. Al Muwaiji stressed that the intensification of coordination meetings between government entities reflects the directives of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, and enhances the emirate's efforts in offering efficient and feasible local projects and initiatives that benefit society and private sector establishments. This meeting aims to consolidate a participatory approach that ensures coordination between government entities in the emirate to discuss opportunities for updating policies that contribute to achieving the emirate's goals and development plan, in addition to exchanging experiences and spreading best practices to improve the quality of government work and create a competitive economic and investment climate that positively affects increasing the productivity of private sector enterprises. It also improves the experience of individuals and institutions in obtaining government services and achieves the highest levels of satisfaction. The meeting dealt with a number of projects and the results of reports related to business tracking and consumer confidence. The attendees were briefed on the results and developments of the Excellence Award for Economic Establishments in Ajman "The Best" organized by the Ajman DED, and the impact of this Award on the business growth of the participating entities from the private sector.
