Marwan Al Shaali Participates In The Arab Labor Conference In Cairo As A Representative Of The Federation Of Uae Chambers

As a representative of the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), H.E. Marwan Hussein Al Shaali, Member of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), participates in the 49th Session of the Arab Labor Conference (ALC) held in the Arab Republic of Egypt, with the wide participation of Arab labor ministers and representatives of Arab organizations and chambers of commerce and business owners. During his speech at the ALC, Al Shaali stressed that the commercial and economic policies and initiatives adopted by UAE contributed to put it in an advanced position among the top 10 countries in more than 28 of the most prominent indicators of global competitiveness for the year 2022 in various sectors of finance, economy, trade, communications, information technology, and investment. He stressed the importance of the activities of the 49th Session of the Arab Labor Conference in Cairo, as a periodic platform for unifying visions and positions and exchanging experiences among the Arab countries. During his speech, he reviewed the role of the UAE in preserving and protecting the environment and facing the challenges of climate change through a national strategy for the environment, in addition to the UAE hosting the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) at the end of next November in Expo City Dubai. He expressed the UAE's aspiration to continue developing investment partnerships in Arab countries through the sectors of the new economy and green projects, including the space industry, renewable energy, circular economy models, and advanced technology.
