Abdullah Al Muwaiji: The Uae Economy Will Witness Exceptional Growth After Adopting The Plan Of Doubling Re-Export By 2030

H.E. Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), confirmed that the UAE economy will witness exceptional growth during the current and next period thanks to the insightful vision of the wise leadership and the approval of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah protect him, on 24 national initiatives aimed at increasing the UAE's re-export sector by 100% until 2030. He praised the UAE's potentials and advantages that enable it to double re-export, including the network of global relations and comprehensive economic partnership agreements that the UAE has already concluded. However, it seeks to increase and diversify them during the next stage, in addition to the government’s directions to develop the service infrastructure to double re-exports, establish an international trade data center, increase the investments attractiveness, and launch national programs to promote and support the re-export. The UAE's re-export is characterized by the diversity and momentum of the markets, as a result, the value of re-export in 2022 reached more than AED 600 billion, which opens up prospects for reaching double the UAE's re-export by 2030. He stressed that the Ajman Chamber adopts a flexible strategic plan aligning with the directions of the UAE and Ajman. The Ajman Chamber will seek, within its plan for the current year, to intensify its international cooperation and partnerships by holding forums and receiving trade and investment delegations, in addition to setting up a program to increase the Ajman Chamber's participation in foreign exhibitions. In 2022, the Ajman Chamber has received 29 trade and investment delegations and held 13 trade forums with brotherly and friendly countries with a view to developing economic relations, increasing the volume of trade exchange, attracting direct investments, and opening horizons for partnership and cooperation between business owners from Ajman and their counterparts from other countries. It also participated in a wide range of its member companies and factories in 4 specialized international exhibitions, which ensures that it is keeping pace with the UAE's directions in doubling re-export over the next seven years. He stressed that the Ajman government, represented by H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the Ruler of the Emirate of Ajman and a member of the UAE Supreme Council, "may Allah protect him" and H.H Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, is keen to attract investments and facilitate the work environment with the aim of increasing the Ajman's GDP, which will have a significant impact in achieving the UAE's directions to double re-export by 2030.
