Humaid Bin Ammar Al Nuaimi Attends The Conclusion Of The Training And Professional Program Of The “Future Makers” Program

H.E. Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi attended the conclusion of the Training and Professional Program of the “Future Makers” Program, which was organized by Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration and partnership with Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park, in and with Sharjah Open Innovation Lab. The conclusion of the Program, held at Ajman Saray Hotel, was attended by H.E. Eng. Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Board of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Salem Al-Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber, H.E. Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park, graduates of the “Future Makers” Program, members of the Organizing Committee, and those in charge of the Program. At the beginning of the events, H.E. Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, and H.E. Abdullah Al Muwaiji, made an inspection tour of the exhibition, which included the ideas of projects and products of the graduates, as each graduate presented an overview of his/her project idea, as well as its economic feasibility and products to serve the society members. The attendees also viewed a presentation on the program stages, including practical workshops and theoretical lectures. H.E. Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar praised the quality of the proposed project ideas and their relevance to the area of industry innovation, and the importance and role of the Program in empowering the Emirati youth interested in initiating private projects using supportive tools and means to involve in the area of innovation-based manufacturing. In his speech, Mr. Nasser Al Dhafri, Executive Director of Communication and Member Support Division at Ajman Chamber, stressed that the “Future Makers” Program was comprehensive and supportive of the capabilities of its members, with clear support and cooperation between Ajman Chamber, Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park, and Sharjah Open Innovation Lab, to provide experiential learning, cognitive learning, and skills, enabling participants to discover, test, and evaluate opportunities of new industrial services, products, and technologies, providing the necessary understanding and skills to help become successful innovators and entrepreneurs in the industry sector, evaluating the entire entrepreneurial process and journey, providing practical insight for building a business model and set a work plan, presenting and putting forward ideas and proposals, and communicating and exchanging ideas, experiences, and viewpoints among colleagues and experts. Al Dhafri added, "We are pleased to celebrate a group of the nation's youth who have a passion for innovation and transforming ideas into innovative projects", noting that the "Future Makers" Program, which includes practical and theoretical workshops, was exceptional for including a series of specialized workshops, including "formulation of business models, monitoring of opportunities, talent understanding, development of presentation and persuasion skills, launch or development of a product, and analysis of customers and markets". The "Future Makers" Program also included practical workshops, creation of prototypes, and development of scenarios and designs, which announces the organization of specialized events and programs in the future, in line with the directions of our state and the current and future development plans”. He explained that Ajman Chamber, under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman and Member of the UAE Supreme Council, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, adopted an agenda of strategic initiatives and projects for overlooking and creating the business future and enhancing the potentials of competitiveness and leadership. With the follow-up of the Board of Directors, Ajman Chamber seeks to provide all facilities and possible support, by providing training programs to develop skills, gain experience, and create a supportive climate for easy doing business. Al Dhafri also noted that Ajman Chamber is particularly interested in encouraging the holders of ideas and projects related to industrial activities based on creativity and innovation in products, supporting joint efforts under the national strategy for industry and advanced technology, and raising the share of the industrial sector to AED 300 billion by 2031. The Executive Director of Communication and Member Support Division at Ajman Chamber praised the efforts exerted by Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park and Sharjah Open Innovation Lab, and thanked the work team of Ajman Chamber, especially the Development and Innovation Department, for their efforts to present the Program in a successful, distinguished, and honorable manner. He also thanked and appreciated the graduates of the "Future Makers" Program, for their passion and interaction with all stages of the Program and for introducing ideas for distinguished projects and products. Mr. Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park, stressed the importance of the first-of-its-kind program and its keeping pace with the goals of the state, by developing the industrial sector and paying attention to advanced industries, praising the quality of presented ideas and projects, which contributes to the availability of an industrial base simulating the economies of the future. He added that the "Future Makers" Program reflects the true partnership between the state institutions and the efforts made to promote the youth ideas and projects, noting that Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park is keen to enhance its cooperation and diversify its partnerships with all government and private agencies. He thanked Ajman Chamber for its cooperation in implementing the Program to build knowledge and develop skills of its youth members by experts and specialists in linking innovation to the industrial field, as well as monitoring innovative industrial investment ideas and opportunities. He also praised the efforts exerted by those in charge of the Program and the great attention paid by the participants of the Program. After the graduation ceremony, H.E. Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Eng. Abdullah Al Muwaiji, and Hussain Al Mahmoudi, honored the graduates and distributed certificates. Moreover, Ajman Chamber presented a special honor to Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park.
