The Ajman Businesswomen Council (AJBWC) was established under the umbrella of the Ajman Chamber in 2005, creating a leading, sustainable platform dedicated to empowering women and enhancing their presence in the economic landscape. Since its inception, AJBWC has implemented annual and long-term strategies focused on a primary goal: economic and investment empowerment of women. This is achieved by developing their skills and capabilities in critical areas, including: optimal project selection, management, marketing, development, innovation, manufacturing, and others. AJBWC provides a supportive environment that equips its members with the necessary tools, knowledge, and opportunities for growth and expansion. Thanks to its clear vision and specialized programs, AJBWC has cemented its role as a strategic partner in building women's economic and investment capacities, thereby strengthening their function as effective contributors to Ajman's development and the acceleration of the local economy. AJBWC represents a long and successful journey in supporting women and elevating their status, opening broad horizons for their participation in local and Gulf-wide events. AJBWC proudly includes exemplary and pioneering businesswomen among its members. AJBWC consistently guides and supports its members to leverage Intellectual Property (IP) registration services, in collaboration with expert advisory bodies. This initiative falls within AJBWC's framework for achieving economic and cognitive empowerment, ensuring the sustainability of members’ efforts and enhancing their ability to manage their projects and safeguard their innovations. Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of AJBWC, affirmed AJBWC's commitment to diversifying and strengthening its participation in Gulf exhibitions and events. This month, AJBWC participated in the "Biban 2025" Forum, held under the slogan "Global Destination for Opportunities," organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at). The Forum, which hosted over 200 local and international speakers, saw AJBWC ensure representation for its project-owning members. This provided them with the crucial opportunity to exhibit their ventures, network with participating entities, and display their products, ultimately reinforcing the presence of Emirati women on regional and international economic platforms. Furthermore, AJBWC participated as part of the Emirates Businesswomen Council (EBWC) delegation in the 7th Gulf Businesswomen Forum. Organized by the Federation of GCC Chambers in collaboration with the Qatar Chamber and supported by the GCC Secretariat-General over two days in Qatar, the event was themed "Entrepreneurship and Investment Sustainability." AJBWC's participation aimed to open channels for exchanging expertise and fostering cooperation among women entrepreneurs, particularly in vital sectors such as the digital economy and tech entrepreneurship. It also sought to gain insights into best practices and innovations, and to build strategic partnerships that contribute to expanding AJBWC's scope of work and maximizing its impact.
