As part of its “ZAAM” program, Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) has organized a workshop titled “The Art of Flexible Selling”, under the theme “Secrets of Excellence in the Flexible Work System.” The workshop aimed to equip women entrepreneurs with practical skills to enhance sales techniques, build adaptability to market changes, excel in product marketing and presentation, and connect part-time job seekers with female entrepreneurs. The workshop was held at the Ajman Society of Social and Cultural Development and was presented by Salem Al Ghafri, Founder and Director of Al Ruwad Specialized Center for Professional Development, with the participation of a group of business owners. Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of AJBWC, emphasized AJBWC’s commitment to launching diverse and innovative projects that align with the aspirations of women entrepreneurs. She noted that AJBWC is focused on designing high-quality programs that provide a supportive and empowering environment for women to grow sustainably and confidently. "The 'ZAAM' initiative offers a quality platform designed to facilitate part-time job opportunities and connect job seekers with women entrepreneurs for mutual benefit. This contributes to business stability and sustainability, while enhancing the flexibility of marketing products developed by AJBWC’s women entrepreneurs," Al Ali added. The workshop addressed several key topics, including the differences between part-time and full-time work, the advantages and challenges of part-time roles in sales, strategies for excellence in flexible work, quick persuasion and first impression skills, emotional intelligence and customer communication, understanding customer needs and market demands, steps to successful selling, customer adaptability, and the diversification of sales channels and outlets. Al Ghafri praised AJBWC's efforts in implementing innovative initiatives that reflect the aspirations of women entrepreneurs and aim to empower them economically. He emphasized the workshop’s role in strengthening their marketing and sales skills, in addition to promoting the concepts of flexible work and part-time employment, along with practical mechanisms to benefit from them.
