The Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) has announced the opening of registration for school students and youth to participate in the "Nash’e for Entrepreneurship" initiative with a view to encouraging students to discover their entrepreneurial talents, foster their passion for entrepreneurship, and establish their own businesses. The registration period will run from April 28th to May 9th, 2025. The initiative is being implemented in cooperation with the Private Education Coordination Office in Ajman. The initiative was announced over two days at Al Raqaib Majlis, with the attendance of members of the AJBWC Board of Directors: Iman Obaid Al Som, Mona Saqr Al Matrooshi, and Maryam Al Mamari, Executive Director of the Citizens Affairs Office in Ajman. The launch events were also attended by 150 secondary school students representing 8 schools in Ajman. The initiative includes a series of stages, including the provision of workshops and specialized training courses aimed at developing their skills and refining their abilities in various fields of commercial work. It also involves organizing a series of exhibitions to showcase student projects during the summer program activities. Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of the AJBWC, stated that the "Nash’e" initiative is the latest of the AJBWC's initiatives during the year 2025. She emphasized that it is a part of the AJBWC's efforts to enhance its participation in the "Year of Community" and achieve its objectives of strengthening community bonds. This is part of the ongoing efforts to support rising generations and encourage them towards creative thinking and self-reliance. She affirmed that the initiative provides an important platform for discovering young talents and guiding them towards self-employment and innovative projects. She further added, "The initiative will feature the participation of a select group of experts and specialized trainers who will lead interactive workshops on a range of topics, including discovering and developing talents, the fundamentals of project management, e-marketing, creative thinking, and strategies for transforming ideas into viable projects, among others." Additionally, dedicated spaces will be allocated in the summer exhibitions to showcase and market student products to the public, offering them a real opportunity to experience entrepreneurship.
