Ajbwc Encourages Owners Of Agricultural Projects To Develop Their Projects

Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, the Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC), affirmed the AJBWC's efforts in developing and supporting home-based agricultural projects through the "Plant and Reap" initiative. This initiative aligns with the AJBWC's strategy to support sustainable projects and enhance food security, coinciding with the Year of Community and the achievement of its objectives. She clarified that the AJBWC continues to monitor existing agricultural projects and seeks to launch new projects for cooled agricultural greenhouses. This aims to empower women to produce healthy agricultural crops in a suitable environment throughout the year, with the potential to transform these into sustainable and profitable investment ventures. Dr. Amna stated that the AJBWC's commitment to intensifying its efforts in the "Plant and Reap" initiative enhances its contribution to achieving the UAE's directions in the field of food security and the economic and social empowerment of women. She further emphasized that the AJBWC aims to transfer knowledge and offer practical training and ongoing agricultural guidance to female project owners, empowering them to achieve the highest standards in home-based agricultural production. This is carried out in collaboration with the AJBWC’s partners from relevant agricultural and agri-tech organizations. For her part, Halima Al Hammadi, the founder of the Cooled Greenhouse project, lauded the AJBWC's support and follow-up of the project, and its interest in transforming the home gardening experience into a promising investment project with economic returns. She also praised the guidance and training role provided by the AJBWC, which contributes to empowering female entrepreneurs and motivating them to expand into innovative projects that support local food security.
