AJBWC discusses enhancing cooperation with government departments
The Ajman Businesswomen Council of Ajman Chamber has recently visited a number of government departments in Ajman like Department of Tourism Development, Department of Economic Development, and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). to discuss the ways of enhancing the mutual cooperation. The visits were headed by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of AJBWC.
The visits aimed to achieve the objectives of the Council and to meet aspiration of the businesswomen and the productive families through enhancing the future cooperation and organising activities serving their business. It also sought to increase sustainability of their enterprises and strengthening the communication with the government officials.
Dr. Amna indicated that the Council has set a strategic plan for holding meetings with the departments, institutions and ministries inside and outside Ajman. This aims to consolidate the future cooperation and brief them on the Council’s activities in order to ensure integrity and coordination in roles. It is going to focus on the bodies that have programmes and activities consistent with goals of the AJBWC. While the visits come to increase the partnerships to ensure success of the events organised by the Council, she added.
Through the visits, AJBWC briefed those departments on the Council’s plan for 2016 that will witness organisation of the 4th edition of the Gulf Business Women Forum in Ajman.
Dr. Amna also briefed them on the Council’ services like “Bedayat” license, “Lahum” initiative, “Women Transport Service”, “Bedayat” Exhibition, “Anamel Wataniya” publicity, “One Day Exhibition”, My Handmade” and Bedayat Coffee Shop” at government departments.
She hailed role of the government departments in organisation of the “One Day Exhibition” and allowing opportunities for the businesswomen to promote their products there. She also invited them to share organisation of the future events with the Council.
Dr. Aman praised the unlimited support of the leadership provided for the businesswomen and the productive families, stressing the great contribution of this sector in the GDP.
She further said that the AJBWC seeks through the strategic plan to organise many of workshops and training session in collaboration with the concerned departments to qualify the businessmen and overcome the challenges that stand on their ways.
She also thanked all the government departments and private institutions for their constant support provided for the businesswomen allowing them to increase their business. This reflects the great importance of such pivotal sector, Dr. Amna said
