STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

Strategic Objective (1)

To increase the Chamber’s revenues at least by 40% by the end of year 2011

To achieve Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s mission in supporting the economic activities and customizing the investment environment in Ajman Emirate, the strategic objective (1) has been set this way in order to work on accomplishing this objective on first hand, and to support and improve the Camber’s resources on the other hand, leading to increasing the Chamber’s ability to carry out its responsibilities towards members and clients.

Strategic Objective (2)

To set up new and various investment projects, totaling at least (3) projects by the end of year 2011

Necessary financial resources should be provided to the Chamber so that it can achieve its ambitious strategic objectives successfully. Therefore, this strategic objective is important in the plan. The Chamber will endeavor its best efforts to accomplish this objective through its usual resources in addition to its prudent investment projects it is planning to carry out according to this plan.

Strategic Objective (3)

To upgrade quality standards of the services rendered and provided to the members and clients, in addition to other new services

Within the framework of the strategic planning to increase customer’s and Chamber’s members’ satisfaction, the Chamber has set this strategic objective to upgrade the quality standard of services provided based on the Chamber’s belief that they constitute the main axis of the Chamber’s transactions and activities, where this significant plan should be accomplished through definite initiatives and projects to be executed according to the operational plans of the Chamber over the course the five years of the Strategic Plan.

Strategic Objective (4)

To increase the members and customers’ satisfaction level reaching at least 90% by the end of year 2011

This objective has been set as an ambitious goal to render challenges into achievements thanks to Almighty Allah as well as based on firm trust in Chamber’s staff abilities. Based on this, the higher management of the Chamber can ensure achievement of this strategic planning directly and to follow it up continuously as it is the actual outcome of Chamber’s performance and success in delivering its vision and achieving its mission.

Strategic Objective (5)

To render all services of the Chamber into electronic services before the year 2011

In Line with the Chamber’s strategic planning towards developing and upgrading its internal services and operations as well as towards achieving competitive position in corporate excellence contests on the level of the United Arab Emirates, the Chamber has adopted the process of rendering all its services into electronic services thereby meeting the excellence requirements and enhancing its services quality through working on and following up such strategic objectives.

To Develop and improve the work systems and operations in the Chamber

This significant objective has been set to be a launching base for Chamber’s initiatives contributing to achieving the relevant strategic planning set to be achieved over the course of the entire strategic period.

Strategic Objective (7)

To apply the criteria of corporate excellence and to achieve an advanced position, in line with the awards recognized inside the United Arab Emirates within 3 years

This objective has been set to be the outcome of the improvement and development efforts. Its achievement will constitute a practical proof of efficiency and effectiveness of these efforts.

Strategic Objective (8)

To develop the performance of the human resources

Based on the Chamber’s firm belief in the importance of qualifying its human resources and to enable them carry out their assignments and duties competently, this objective has been set to achieve this goal among other initiatives for providing these human resources with education and training as well as to enable them achieve advanced and sustainable success.

Strategic Objective (9)

To develop and improve the services rendered to the staff

As our staff members are the basic assets for achieving this ambitious strategic plan, and as they are our genuine assets , this significant objective has been set to be one of the major objectives of the strategic plan – working on providing developed services of high quality.

Strategic Objective (10)

To develop the Information Technology System and knowledge management

This objective has been set among the other strategic objectives of the Chamber based on the importance and significance of the Information Technology in developing the competence of the human resources and developing their learning abilities.
