Ajman Businesswomen Council organized a workshop on “Areas of Supporting Women’s Enterprises” which was held at ACCI premises.
This workshop comes in context with introducing “Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development” and shedding light on its efforts in supporting and funding youth enterprises. During the workshop a number of issues were discussed between businessmen who are investing in the emirate of Ajman and representatives of “Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development”.
The workshop addressed the mechanisms and plans of Khalifa Fund in funding various women’s enterprises and training of entrepreneurs, social development programs, Sougha Initiative, funding programs, and the major achievements of Khalifa Fund, as well as steps and procedures for application in order to enjoy the benefits of the fund’s services.
Also during the workshop one of the women entrepreneurs spoke about her successful experience with Khalifa Fund in getting flexible loan for her enterprise and the training and coaching courses she took on marketing a product, expected profit and feasibility study.
At the end, participants in the workshop appreciated the role played by Khalifa Fund in developing enterprises and creating a new generation of distinguished UAE national entrepreneurs, instill and deepen the culture of entrepreneurship in addition to supporting SMEs sector in the country. In order to support the accomplishments that women aspire to achieve, resulting in positive and influential impact on women’s professional, economic, and leading role in the society. |
