
Ajman Businesswomen Council met with his Excellency Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehi , Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, in the presence of Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali Board Member of Ajman Chamber and Chairman of Ajman Businesswomen Council , Mariam AbdulRahman Al Shurafa Secretary General of the Council , Fatima Al Musafiri Board Member of the Council , Aziza Al Shehi Council Coordinator , and Moza Al Kitbi Administrator at Ajman Businesswomen Council .
During the meeting avenues of cooperation between both sides were discussed, as Dr. Amna Khalifa spoke about the projects presented by Ajman Businesswomen Council and the services the council provides to support women’s small and medium enterprises . Dr. Amna pointed out that the council provides initiatives that support women’s participation in the labor market and one of these initiatives is “ Bidayat “ trade license which a free of charge trade license valid for 3 years given to women who have home based businesses.
This trade license enables women to carry out their commercial activities legally, promote for their products and secure an income.
Later members of Ajman Businesswomen Council introduced the idea of the initiative of organizing a forum and exhibition for businesswomen holders of “ Bidayat “ trade license.
For his own part , his Excellency Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, expressed the readiness of the ministry to fully support projects of women entrepreneurs , for the their significant and bright role in the community of the UAE at the present time.
