Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry concluded the In-depth Arbitration Session organized by the Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Center at Ajman Chamber recently , in cooperation with Ajman University of Science and Technology and the Arbitration Center at Ain Shams University in Egypt , with the participation of 50 trainees from different disciplines , including university professors, engineers , businessmen , lawyers and university students .
The session covered in its content a number of important topics in the field of arbitration such as : skills of formulating international trade contracts and its impact on arbitration clause , negotiating international trade contracts.
In addition to the topic of arbitration of investment disputes , and the contracts of the international federation of consulting engineers , arbitration of disputes in oil investment contracts , the role of experts between arbitration and judiciary The session also covered the topic of UNCITRAL Model law of arbitration ,and recent trends of arbitration provisions issued by the center for settlement of investment disputes in Washington .
Conducting arbitration training sessions is pursuant to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi , Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman and His Highness Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi , Crown Prince of Ajman Chairman of the Executive Council , given to the need to spread the culture of arbitration at institutions and local departments of both the government and private sectors .
The conclusion of the arbitration session was attended by H.E Abdullah Al Muwaiji , Chairman of Ajman Chamber Board of Directors and H.E Dr. Amna Khalifa , Member of the Board of Directors and H.E Ahmed Al Muwaiji , Head of Legal Affairs Center and Secretary General of the Conciliation and Arbitration Center .
During a speech at the conclusion session H.E Chairman of Ajman Chamber Board of Directors expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and His Highness Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi for their great support and persistent follow up of the chamber’s activities and functions .
He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Center for the excellence organization of this session .Expressing his hope to have achieved the desired objectives.
After that H.E Abdullah Al Muwaiji and H.E Dr. Amna Khalifa handed over certificates to the participants in the session.
