 The strategic planning and organizational center at Ajman Chamber held a meeting chaired by Mohammed Al Hamrani , General Director of Ajman Chamber , and attended by board members ,heads of departments and members of excellence teams at the Chamber.
During the meeting , a number of issues related to the participation at the Ajman excellence award were discussed. Which comes as one of the most important goals of the chamber’s strategic plan , and that is to implement the quality standards of organisational excellence and achieve an advanced position in accordance to the accredited awards in the country within three years.
This strategic goal was developed to be the result of the improvement and development efforts of the chamber, and achieving this goal will be a practical proof of the feasibility , effectiveness and efficiency of these efforts.
Also during the meeting , the General Director of the Chamber issued a number of directives that aim at the preparation of the participation in the Ajman Government Excellence Award 2011 .
One of these directives is to form a team that will be responsible for making the nomination application . This team includes a number of distinctive , competent members that are qualified to prepare the nomination document with the highest standards that reflects a distinctive facade of the Chamber , and highlights its achievements , strengths , and improvement opportunities that were gained from the results of the evaluation report of the previous award session.
In addition to that , form a team that reviews and updates work systems and reviews the results related to the methodologies and their performance indicators ,and measure the achievements of the objectives of such methodologies .
After that , quality standards officials at the Chamber formed supporting work teams in order to speed up the completion of the tasks according the specified time plan and the specified delivery time given by the Ajman Excellence Program.
Furthermore , Al Hamrani granted heads of the excellence teams and standards officials the authority that will assist them in accomplishing the tasks that were assigned to them in the best ways .
At the end of the meeting , General Director of Ajman Chamber drew the attention of the members to the importance of utilising the best practices and expertise available at the Chamber , the general director also emphasized on the importance of organising field visits that contribute to the acquisition of new experiences and help to achieve the best performances based on the latest experiments in the field of excellence . |
