In cooperation with Ministry of Economy, Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted an introductory forum on Companies Law. The forum was run by Ali Al Husani, director of commercial registration department at the ministry. From ACCI, H.E. Obaid Bin Ali AL Muhairi, ACCI Chairman, Mohamed AL Hamrani, Director General of ACCI, and a number of ACCI staff and employees as well as many other representatives of public stock companies and businessmen attended the forum.
Opening the forum, Al Husani mentioned the importance of the government’s role represented in the ministry of economy and the private sector’s role represented in the Chambers and businessmen in the growth and development of the national economy. He explained the main objective behind conducting this forum, which is to search for improvement and development opportunities as well as to spot such difficulties and problems facing the businessmen, in addition to laying such systems which provide attractive environment for investment and development of legislative and economic infrastructure.
Obaid Al Muhairi welcomed the initiative from the ministry of economy in conducting this forum to introduce and familiarize the participants on the new law and to discuss the same, saying that ACCI always opens communication channels between businessmen and governmental authorities and departments.
Al Muhairi called on the ministry of economy to improve the communication process between the ministry and the businessmen, provided that this communication should take place regularly to facilitate positive interaction between both sides.
Mohamed Al Hamrani, director general of ACCI, highlighted the importance of distributing the laws of commerce sector and putting the same on table for discussion by the businessmen and the relevant authorities in order to develop such laws, and ultimately to realize excellent growth opportunities for the national economy.
Finally, the businessmen and companies representatives were given the time to discuss the new law and to make their queries on the same, in order to reach the best results. |
