Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Witnessed the proceedings of the elections of the board of Ajman businesswomen in its second session 2010/2011 in the main building of the Chamber. The elections resulted in victory of engineer Aisha Bent Bader as the president of the council and Dr Amna Khalifa, as the first deputy president , Rima Shurafa as the secretary-general, the Council encloded Fatima Jassim, Aicha kajour , Mariam Al Shurafa and Fatima Almsavri , Sara Ahmed Ibrahim
The elections started with a word of welcome from HE Obaid Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Board of Ajman Chamber in the presence of Muhammad Ali Alhamrani the director general of Ajman Chamber , where Al Muhairi praised the role played by women in various aspects of life, especially the economic ones, pointing to the confidence that the faith given by the Government of Ajman is evidence of the skills and capacities of women and her constructive role in the society.
He added that the representation of women in the board of Ajman Chamber stems as a result of the concern from His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, to promote and support the Council of Ajman businesswomen and the continuous follow-up of HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and the Chairman of the Executive Council and his eagerness to overcome all the difficulties that may face the work of the Council.
Al Muhairi expressed his hopes that these will contribute to the secretion of a working group of the Council ably run smoothly and achieve the hopes and aspirations of the businesswomen in the emirate and contribute with other businesswomen councils in the upgrading of the State economic sector and to find new and innovative means like the women in the emirate to exercise commercial activities and management of their enterprises investment. Also engineer Aisha Bent Bader the President of the Council addressed a word, carrying greetings and wishes for the success in the new session and confirmed that the UAE women are playing an important role in all economic fields as well as other areas have also shown that Ajman Business Women Council since its inception worked to uphold the status of women in the business sector and contribute to keep pace with the aspirations of women and enhance their participation in the sustainable development of the society.
