Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry was incorporated under an Ameri Decree issued by the late H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nu’aimi in 1977. The Chamber is considered one of the leading establishments and departments sponsoring the private sector, working on representing the economic interests of the establishments and individuals of the private sector, aiming at developing its economic role through providing various services to them, and by representing their interests before the governmental departments, in addition to providing it with support and handling any problems that may face them.

Any person obtaining a trading license issued in Ajman shall , automatically, become a member in Ajman’s Chamber, except for the Free Zone operating companies which have the option to apply for obtaining such membership.

Ajman Chamber of Commerce & Industry Membership Guidelines

The most important services the chamber provides to its members are as follows:

• Providing membership services, certificates of origin, and attestation
  • Registration and membership for members and private sector establishments.
  • Attest the private sector transactions such as attesting certificates of origin, invoices, trading licenses, and other transactions
• Supporting the economic activities
  • Organize economic symposiums, forums, and events .
  • Take part in organizing international exhibitions in a manner introducing the national products abroad .
• Providing Information Services
  • Issue many publications, periodicals, commercial and industrial manuals, in addition to distributing offers and investment opportunities it receives from investment companies and organizations from all parts of the world.
  • Issue circulars to all associates informing them of the resolutions and new regulations issued by the government departments and the international organizations and authorities, which may affect the nature of their businesses
  • provide businessmen with economic information
  • provide businessmen with companies’ lists as per activity
  • Provide businessmen with information on Ajman .
• Legal Services
  • Receive members, companies, and establishments’ complaints
  • Settle the commercial disputes arising among associate members

The chamber’s services are divided into two parts:

• Services of information, data, and statistics for businessmen and investors in general, who may not necessarily be associate members of the chamber.
• Special services for chamber’s members such as attesting certificates, certificates of origin, and the service of commercial offers, in addition to the legal services.

The chamber receives the complaints coming to it via all communications means or from people personally attending at the legal affairs section. The complaints lodged are examined and discussed with the relevant parties in order to reach a settlement satisfying both parties and protecting their respective rights.
